Blog Post of the Day:
Below is a letter written to the editor who wrote the article 'Enforcement of dress code creates negative effect' that your blogged about last week. Most of you wrote on your blog that you agreed with the writer. What are your thoughts after reading the letter below and seeing a different perspective. Are they the same? Are the different? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.

This is going to sound like I just go along with everything I hear (as I hear it), but really, I do agree with this letter on some levels. I believe that everyone should be able to wear whatever they want, but I also know that when a lot of these kids grow up, they will be held to much higher standards than they are right now.

I know that a woman who works with my dad doesn't like the restrictions she's expected to adhere by. She complimented my dress one day, and then said that she wished she could wear something like that. I was 10, so I asked her why she couldn't wear something like my dress. She explained to me that at the office, she was asked to wear business clothes, and have a sense of professionalism about her clothing.

So, as I said before, I believe that everyone is entitled to wear whatever they want to wear, but maybe not all the time.
